Aloha, My name is Zephaniah and I am part of doing the SLJ. It is great to see you completing as much as posible of doing the SLJ asignments. I loved reading your reason why you wanted to visit Tane Mahuta. Just for some helpful thoughts, maybe next time when your doing a post like this, you could add more detail on why you would like to see tane mahuta. Other wise, this was an awesome presentation to look at.
This is an awesome comment you have made here Zephaniah! It's wonderful to see you sharing positive, thoughtful and helpful comments to students from around the country. Remember to tell them which cluster you're from and maybe they might hop on your blog and leave a comment on your work too :-)
Thanks for having a go at this SLJ activity, 'Giants Among Us' and for telling us whether you'd like to visit this kauri tree known as Tāne Mahuta. I'm glad to see that you'd like to visit Tāne Mahuta, but I'm intrigued as to why you'd like to see it. Would the only reason really be because you haven't seen this type of tree before? Tāne Mahuta is really, really old and means a lot to Māori, for Tāne Mahuta is an atua (god) who is responsible for the forest and everything within it including the trees and the birds. Do you know any more Māori atua?
Hello Charlotte, I am Vitaraag. I also want to visit it. What do you think it is going to be like if you went there. Maybe next time you could add more information about why you want to go there. Keep trying your hardest.
Please structure your comments as follows: Positive - Something done well Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - Give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
