why we have to stop environmental issues?

Why we need to stop environmental issues?

I am Charlotte from Papakura in Auckland I would like to make a
complaint. In this letter you will be reading about a park,
litter, and other problems, some of these problems have
ideas to help solve the problem.

First, there is too much
rubbish around, so I was thinking to clean up our street
we live on and other streets around ours but I can not
achieve this goal because there is only me and lots of
rubbish. I was thinking that you may be able to notify
people and ask them if they could help each other and
clean up both sides of their street. Then they can start
reducing their waste that goes into landfill.

Second, I have also noticed that some people are paying for
the compost bins but they aren’t actually using them
because they have handmade compost bins or brought
bins in their backyard that they put there compost in
witch is really unfair for the people that have their own
compost bins in their backyard.

Third, On Sunday the 16th of September 2018, I went
for a drive to McLean park and were very upset
because I couldn’t play and have fun at the park
because there are construction fences up in the park.
Now there is no place to play and have fun or go
for a refreshing walk in the park. But now they
have unblocked it and there is streets now not
green anymore.Red is where we go into the
park, white is the boundary and also all the
space we could play in, and orange is where we can play now.

Fourth, plastic bags need to stop right away so I came
up with an idea instead of plastic bags for compost
and wheelie bin liners just put the rubbish or food
scraps in the provided bin as they are without any
liners or plastic bags or get some paper bags.
I know that shops have taken some plastic
bags away but there is still some plastic bags
in shops that can kill animals because they might
think it is food. If people's bins get smelly or look
very dirty they can wash them with a hose and
scrub them. Then they can leave them out in the sun to dry.

Fith, petrol taxes. The rate on liquefied petroleum gas is
31.61 pence per kilogram. The rate on natural gas used
as fuel in vehicles is 24.70 pence per kilogram and the
rate on fuel oil burned in a furnace or used for heating is
10.70 pence per liter. I think that is polluting the earth that
we live on which that will poison the soil and other stuff to.

I hope you can help to make a change in this world.
